Low Headroom Piling Rig Machine with 5.6 m Clearance 125 kN.m Torque and EU Stage V Engine for Urban Foundation Drilling

The KRL-125L low headroom piling rig is specially developed for foundation works carried out under strict height restrictions. Thanks to a folding short-mast design, the total working clearance is only 5.6 m, so the machine can operate beneath existing bridges, inside underground parking structures and on top of metro slabs where a standard rotary rig simply cannot enter. Despite the compact frame, it still delivers a rated output torque of 125 kN.m and a maximum drilling depth of 35 m with a 1200 mm maximum pile diameter.

The power unit is a 132 kW engine certified to EU Stage V, matched with a load-sensing hydraulic system that keeps fuel consumption low while maintaining strong crowd force. The short three-section interlocking kelly bar and the reduced transport height make site relocation quick and inexpensive, and the reinforced chassis ensures the machine stays stable even on a small working platform.

This low headroom piling rig is the ideal choice for urban renewal, bridge and viaduct retrofitting, underground parking and metro projects where vertical clearance is limited. It drills cast-in-place bored piles for pile caps, retaining walls and anti-slide structures under existing structures.

Because the machine can work without dismantling overhead structures, contractors save significant demolition and temporary work costs. It is also widely used in industrial plant upgrades and tunnel portal works, where a low, compact and stable piling platform is essential.

The rig is shipped in a compact configuration with the mast folded, wrapped in protective film and secured on a steel base. The short kelly bar, drilling tools and hydraulic hoses are boxed separately for safe sea transport.
