TYSIM received a letter from Sinohydro Bureau 11 Corporation Limited in Zambia recently. The customer purchased 1 set KR125A rotary drilling rig in 2015 and in 2017 for their KK330 power transmission project (Kariba- Kaifu Gorge west switching station) and CLC132 power transmission project (Chipata-Lunda)。
Both projects are being built in Zambia, It has the following construction difficulties: 1. The transmission lines of foreign construction are very long, so the transfer site of construction should be convenient and be transported as a whole; 2. The strata along the way are relatively complex, including sand and soil layers, pebbles, boulders, and highly weathered strata; 3. With good climbing performance for hilly areas along the way.
The total weight of TYSIM KR125A rotary drilling rig is 35tons. It construction drilling diameter range is 400-1500mm. The construction height of it is 15m. It has the functions of automatic folding mast and can be transport in a complete set. Effectively reduce the time of disassembly and assembly in transportation, and at the same time it has the good climbing performance.
