Recently, a TYSIM KR50 participated in the regulating project in Suzhou for the Grand Canal. The construction site is at the junction of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. It is worth mentioning that the KR50 was working from a specially customized vessel.

The length of the waterway regulation project is 47.25 kilometers in accordance with the third-class waterway regulation standard. All of which are located in WuJiang District of Suzhou. This particular project measured 22.7 km with an estimated total investment of about 815M yuan. This waterway improvement project is to part of the effort to complete a backbone waterway linking Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, which will further improve the high-grade waterway network in the Yangtze River Delta and provide strong support for the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

As the equipment is operating on board a ship, involving under water construction, silt layer is easy to collapse during drilling, so, full protective tube is used down to the hard soil level, the average hole forming time is about 2 hours.
