In April 2021,the rotary drilling rig KR300C from Tyheng participated in the construction of WeiYan G-series high speed railway section ZQSG-4 undertaken by China railway first bureau.

The site is located in PengLai district, YanTai city, ShanDong Province. There are more than 20 drilling rigs on the site including TYSIM, Sany, XCMG, ZoomLion and ShanHe. The rock strata have diorite, and granite with depth of rock entry of about 5M; Piling diameter of 1000mm to 1500mm;and depth of 11 meters to 35 meters.

To do a good job, it is necessary to have effective tools. TYSIM KR300C is upgraded with the latest full electronic controlled CAT chassis; single start button; power head multi-stage shock absorption; different gear setting; and strong rock-entry mode. All these result in High operating efficiency; low fuel consumption; and lower maintenance cost.

KR300C can drilling on mildly weathered granite with hardness of 1700 Kpa+. During the construction,Tyheng team overcome the rural operating conditions; hard rock strata; with no water and electricity supply by using the sludge to support the wall of the pit. Through first cleaning and second cleaning to ensure the bottom sludge is no more than 5cm. At the same time, the team ensured that the job done was in compliance with the requirements of the civilized construction and high quality and high efficiency to ensure safety.
